Re: I can't connect to gmail homepage on my computer D-Rock 8/8/09 8:22 PM I had a similar unresolved problem with all my internet browsers (timeouts, connection failures, etc) when i changed Operating Systems on my laptop.  In the end, i think the culprit was some faulty DNS nameserver junk.  I don't understand much of it,

It would be better if I would be able to have a solution without installing
Re: I can't connect to gmail homepage on my computer NikWatt 9/12/09 1:18 AM I've gone through the 'connecting to gmail' 14 times now and frankly I'm rather sick of it.  I get email from BT without a problem.  Indeed the ONLY reason I signed-up for a Google account was because T-mobile/HTC said it needed it to update maps.

Re: I can't connect to gmail homepage on my computer exzombie 11/22/09 6:35 AM Comodo told me that Norton firewall was installed. It was there from a fresh reinstall of the hp system. XP btw. I just uninstalled Norton Internet Security and that did it for me. I will try comodo next, but it wasn't needed first.
