How to correct a missing plug-in? Ken Croucher 2/19/09 10:01 AM How do I find out what's missing and how to instal it when I get a piece of jigsaw puzzle which says a required plug-in is missing?
Re: How to correct a missing plug-in? †Dragontatt† 2/21/09 8:34 PM All the way to the right of the page in the yellow box is a button that says install plugin.  Click that and it will tell you what you need.
Re: How to correct a missing plug-in? Ken Croucher 2/22/09 9:00 AM I can't find a yellow box. At the far right all I can see is the spanner button at the top
Re: How to correct a missing plug-in? †Dragontatt† 2/22/09 6:31 PM Is not the jigsaw puzzle piece notice in a  yellow banner?  It is on my web pages that tell me when I need a plug-in.  It also tells me what plug-in is needed and to "click here" to get it.  I'm sorry, but I don't know what a spanner button is.

Re: How to correct a missing plug-in? mvmv101 6/30/10 4:59 PM This is fucking bullshit. =] Same problem, and my fave game Smallworlds.com is based off of the FLASH PLUGIN.  When in google chrome, you should just refresh.  But in this case go to http://www.coderetard.com/2008/10/22/how-to-install-adobe-flash-plu
Re: How to correct a missing plug-in? mvmv101 6/30/10 5:08 PM My bad, Don't do that.  i checked the plug in on the site, no good. All you need to do is close out of chrome completely. But then to ensure that the plugin and chrome do not corrupt, restart your computer. It also gives your computer a break. Flash
Re: How to correct a missing plug-in? whiskeysquiker 7/8/10 7:54 AM Thank you mvmv101. Your link's instructions worked perfectly. My entire Plugins directory vanished. Just had to recreate it and copy the files to it, worked like a charm. :)
Re: How to correct a missing plug-in? bertdanger 7/18/10 3:00 PM To see your installed plugins: 1) In your address bar, type: chrome://plugins/ You can disable those that crash right there if you want. It is not a direct answer to your question but accessing the installed plugins has been handy for me.
Re: How to correct a missing plug-in? charding 9/18/10 9:16 AM My problem is, as like people above have, is that it doesn't tell you what plugin is missing and there is no yellow banner on the top of the browser telling you to install X plugin.
