can someone please give me a link to contact customer support?
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||Steuart Smith||3/15/09 8:30 AM|
You can try checkout-mer...@google.com but they tend to be useless, if they even choose to respond.
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||evdog22601||3/15/09 8:37 AM|
thanks for your reply. i'm shocked that such a large company as google would have such a poor means of customer service
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||walk_the_walk||3/15/09 7:57 PM|
Google Checkout does not have a call center and if there is a problem with ANY TRANSACTION, you cannot call them up and ask them about it. You can call Ebay, or Paypal or your regular credit card processor. You would NEVER EVER put up with that kind of service from them for a 2.9% rate, so WHY WOULD YOU PUT UP WITH IT FROM GOOGLE CHECKOUT??? Think about it.
Then, do the right thing. Vote with your feet and go to Paypal or any other payment processor. GC does not care about the Small Business Merchant and the fact that they have no phone number and have JACKED UP THEIR RATES says it all.
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||Steuart Smith||3/16/09 7:58 AM|
Yea, I hadn't thought of that. Now that they're going to charge 2.9%, they better pick up the phone.
As a side, it's now been 5 days and I still haven't gotten an answer from support as to why I can't see any customer's addresses anymore. Makes it hard to send the customer something...
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||styloa||3/16/09 9:30 AM|
I'm trying to sign up.... keep getting an:
Oops! An error occurred while processing your request.
Very informative. Is it me? Is it them? Will it work later? Basic software development gone wrong here.
No way to contact GC it seems..... they REALLY do not want my business..... most frustrating.
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||styloa||3/17/09 2:07 AM|
GC had some tech problem that is resolved now. I could sign up with no problem now.
I eventually found a place to email them and the response was very quick - checkout-merch...@google.com.
I take my rant back.
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||gtaseiko||3/26/09 6:28 PM|
now THIS is confusing. Nobody from Google is listening or gives a damn it seems.
The site (sic) is so confusing even my geeks can't figure out how to do it (start)
Paypal is so simple and safe that they get all my business.
I thought GC would be better just because I THOUGHT my customers would have a BIG checkout button to click
How the hell do I get HELP from these idiots?

|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||Plaster||6/14/09 7:41 AM|
I have spent Thousands of dollars using Google AdWords, and ran 80% of my business through Google Checkout which had an average $400 ticket. I was a Googlite who bragged and refered so many friends and collagues on how great it worked. I even got credits to be used from all the money I spent on AdWord so that I didn't have to pay processing fees in google Checkout. WOW...then one day, by Google Checkout with about 10 orders sitting in it worth over $7,000 just wasn' there....dissapeared, no money, no orders, no history...nadda....
No one to talk to, no responce to my emails, nothing. How could this be. I've totally lost faith in Google, and have taken them off my website as a payment option. Now I've lost all those orders and need to rebuild my checkout process.
Shame on you google...some day you will have competition and you'll find out what ALL OF us business people have known for years....customer service is good business, and sometimes what keeps people doing business with you.
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||ronikoren||8/3/09 11:30 AM|
i also just found out that GC sucks and i wish i could find a good alternative but i've also used PayPal and i hate them so passionately that i swore never to use them again if i can. if you think GC is bad it's only because you have not used Paypal much but search the internet
and i doubt you would find a site more hated than paypal. there are web sites devoted to Paypal hate... there are web sites that are devoted to paypal hate story of the week.... the best solution is to use the credit card... trust the sellers because paypal/GC cannot be trusted in other ways - you would lose money and get frustrated... bad for your health...

Google's system made me change the routing number because it said it wasn't long enough... but I didn't realize it had deleted the last zero in my account number... so I added an additional zero to the beginning of the routing number. Now it's wrong and I can't change it.... furthermore, I have 1,000.00 sitting in my account because someone paid me, and now I don't know how to get my money. GOOGLE! This is by far the biggest let down of all. I'm angry, frustrated and completely shocked that I can't get any support for this matter. You have my money!!!!!!!!!

|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||allergyusa||8/22/09 11:17 PM|
Google Checkout has been a BIG let down! I've been using Google Checkout since around March 2009 and have run over $20,000.00 is sales through them. I currently have $2000.00 in received revenue that Google Checkout is holding. They notified me this past week that after "a review" of my account they are going to hold $3000.00 in reserve of my money due to my rating being low. What? I have three reviews and my rating is 3.3 out of 5 stars. One of the three customers gave me 5 stars and one of the three customers gave me 4 stars, but Google says my rating is "low". Their email message notifying me of this unfair action said to reply to their email message with any questions or to discuss this matter, but to date no one has responded to any of my inquiries. No telephone number, no customer support, no response to my message! Just Google Checkout keeping my money and for a reason that is not substantiated! What a bunch of crooks! I've been advised to contact the attorney generals of both my state and Google's home state, and have also been advised to contact various other government organizations - all of which I will be doing on Monday. In closing, all I can say is that my experience in this matter is that Google Checkout is a SCAM!
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||magenchanted||9/7/09 6:55 AM|
I don't know if this may help anyone out, but here's a phone number to Google's Corporate Office...1-650-253-0000. As a result, I am no longer using Google Checkout as an option to my customers. Good luck to all with the GC scam...

|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||bkraz333||9/29/09 12:42 PM|
Unbelievable! I can't find a single method to contact Checkout support -- not email, not online web form, and certainly not telephone. I paid $800 last month in transaction fees, and they will not even answer a simple question? I am very tempted to just get a standard merchant account for credit card processing.
I have been contacted by checkout...@google.com
in the past, but I don't know if it still works. There used to be a web form that said "fix a problem" or something, but that is gone too? WTF?!
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||EdSF||9/29/09 1:19 PM|
@bkraz333: See thread below
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||bkraz333||9/30/09 9:59 AM|
@EdSF, thanks. I eventually found the "contact us" link at the bottom of the page. I did receive a response in about 12 hours, but the message contained exactly the same information that I can get by looking at the order processing page. ie There is a problem with the buyer's credit card, but no mention of how to fix this or why the problem occurred. The buyer has called their credit card company, which indicated that there have been no charges made from Google Checkout. Who knows, the problem may be completely the buyer's fault, but as a business owner, it's difficult to accuse the customer, and I'm getting no help from Checkout.
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||EdSF||9/30/09 1:12 PM|
Unfortunately, that's "how it is" if/when you deal with transactions where you are not the merchant - it's the same story for all 3rd parties - its really tough to get to a point where you can get the same info as you would if you were the merchant - re: if you were the merchant (your own merchant account) its a cinch to get merchant services of almost any cardholder's bank and zero in on a particular transaction and get details - not so for transactions using 3rd parties (Google, PayPal, etc).
The card holders bank will not entertain your inquiry even if you have the credit card number and everything else in between - they will only speak about the transaction based on which merchant (in this case Google) is performing the trnx...
It's not specific to Google, I can tell you that.....we've somewhat come to "live with it" and since we do have our own merchant account, just use that instead for transactions that have similar credit card issues...
But for those who don't have one, this is essentially (or unfortunately) reality...
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||lee.kyuh||12/3/09 3:22 PM|
The WORST payment service ever.
When I tried to buy using my credit, they suspended my account saying that my information can't be verified.
They asked me to upload my personal documents such as passport + VISA + bank statements and when I uploaded, they just said I do not comply with their T&C.
When I asked them what is wrong with my data, and how can I fix the problem, no single reply since then.
This is just insane and so arrogant way of dealing with personal customers. Because they're big company and nothing to lose?
Very disappointed. I used w/o any problem at all at Amazon, Paypal, etc.
Is there any governmental agency / website that I can complain about this unfair treat?
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||BearingDirect||12/8/09 4:40 PM|
I just can't understand why you guys in Google are so afraid of facing out and talk to your clients and help them with problems which your system created for them...and you still charging for every little none sense of service and still not enough raising the costs for no reason... you have no expanses as far of everyone sees here, NO Customer Service, NO Tech Support, NO Email Response, NO Human works in there what hell for... I am suggesting everyone to stop using google checkout and adwords and any of google products, go with PayPal or any other merchant, use Yahoo or MSN or any other search engines, this company seems to me made lots of money and already running away...!!! so save your self ASAP

Wow...came here looking for answers and now, I'm starting to regret going with Google Checkout. There's a $425 charge that was declined because they had to call the customer. The customer was called and confirmed the charge...but who do I call at Google?
It's now 2010...and no one from Google is available to answer a question. Stock is trading over $500 per share for Google, yet, they can't seem to afford a call center to handle Google Checkout.
Doesn't seem right.

|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||DeltaQueen2010||4/21/10 6:47 AM|
I had a Google Checkout account that I was using for donations to my philanthropy, and used it to gather over $1,500 in donations (according to my personal website's statistics). However, what I didn't know was that I forgot to verify my bank account on GC. So there was no trace of any receipt or transaction for all of those donation that were made while unverified. Okay, so that was my fault, BUT all of the donations that were made to GC were charged to the donors. That means the I have no idea where that money went!! The donors were charged, but I didn't received any funds or transactions! I am still searching for any kind of way to contact them about this, but I've had no luck yet.
Once this issue is resolved (or I've give up trying), I'm switching to PayPal.
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||EdSF||4/21/10 8:20 AM|
- Your Google Merchant Center will contain any/all Orders, complete with history for all your transactions. If nothing is listed there, I'm not sure where you are getting that number ($1500).
The solution is to move forward with your bank verification process. If there are any monies to be paid out to you, that has to happen first (of course).

DO NOT USE GOOGLE CHECKOUT. They will steal your money, refund it to orders you have already shipped, etc. I am shocked and irate over the bad business they have commited. I am sorely disappointed in Google. This is an outrage. There is no phone number to call and you can only contact customer support via email. UNACCEPTABLE. I searched and searched for another payment gateway for my website and finally found one through merchant's warhouse.
Paypal is right up there with GC although at least they have a an actual person you can speak to.
What they hell are these people thinking? Someone should take legal action. I don't think this is right.

|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||awn362||9/17/10 8:30 PM|
So. This seems to be the closest I've come to support from Google. I thought that dealing with a name like Google meant that I was secure. This couldn't be further from the truth. I've clicked links till I'm blue in the face. There sits Google with $2500 of my hard earned money and seemingly could care less. I've got documents, emails coming out the yin yang, but no money and no car.
There's no live support. I don't know if I've just been scammed out of $2500 or not. You'd think that a company like Google would give a damn about their customers. It doesn't seem to be the case.
And if it's a scam, then it's a pretty damn good one, and I'd love to report it, but all I can do is to hammer my fingers to the bone trying to get answers. I've even tried to report them to the Better Business Bureau, but I need a phone number, or something to give to 'em and I've got nothing. I'm so sick of dealing with companies that don't care about their customers that I'm just fed up. Heck... the best I could do is uninstall my Google Chrome browser just to give some dissatisfaction.
I could care less about the car now. If I can just get back the money that was given to them.
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||awn362||9/17/10 8:37 PM|
Great! I see this is for merchants. I'm a buyer!
Where is support for buyers? I see I'm typing stuff to vent my frustration over a system that seems to care less about me.
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||EdSF||9/18/10 11:39 AM|
- You can click HELP on the top right of your buyer account pages (after logging into Google Checkout)
- Or this link:
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||awn362||9/19/10 6:38 PM|
Thank you for the link. But my main problem is the fact that I've seemingly already lost $2500 that Google doesn't really seem to care about. Indeed.... why should they? They've already got my money and I've gotten no merchandise!
When I click your link, I come to a link where I have to sign into my Google Checkout Buyer. Now it's asking for my credit card information. Well, what if I've already come to the point to where I don't trust Google with my money anymore? Why would I expose my credit card information to someone with so limited customer service?
I'm going to have to find some real good reasons why I'm going to give what's left of my money to an organization who doesn't care about its customer base.
I just wish there was a toll free number I could call. But I imagine that would mean they'd have to hire someone.
Any chance for a link to a forum for questions for the buyer, instead of me spamming the merchant boards with my problems?
BTW. Thank you for an answer of some sort. It's the closest I've come to customer service so far. Grrrrr.
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||JCGadgets||10/24/10 12:09 AM|
WOW. I was going to use Google Checkout after all of the WASTED time and lost money with PayPal (NEVER use them, despite others recommendations). As mentioned, there are millions of people who absolutely hate PayPal.
ATTENTION GOOGLE: you have just lost another customer. I have not even accepted a single payment with Google Checkout yet, but am immediately going to inform my web developer to throw Google Checkout out the window.
I genuinely am going to start using Bing over Google from now on, Microsoft designs some pretty poor products, but at least they don't hide from their customers. Very disappointing, immature, and UNPROFESSIONAL.
Bing + merchant account it is!
Can anyone here recommend a certain merchant account? Someone who has had some pretty extensive experience with them.
Who here is up for taking up space and processing power on Google servers to promote competitors?
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||awn362||10/24/10 9:18 AM|
I'm happy you'll never have to go through what I've gone through. Google is dead to me. PayPal is much safer. At least you have some support from them. You'll never get it from Google. I'm only too happy to ruin any future business for them. I'd worry about them deleting these posts, but they never read them anyway. Read this article...
Someplace above you'll see a post about the phone number for Google headquarters. Don't waste your time. Google will tell you that they don't offer customer support. At least there they are truthful. GoogleChechout is a waste of time. :(
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||EdSF||10/25/10 9:39 AM|
I'm assuming you're issue with GCO is based on somehow "losing $2500" to GCO? See your other post here:http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/checkout-merchants/thread?tid=6950b00a489cda79&hl=en
1) You're a buyer, Google can mediate for you on a specific Google Checkout Order:
2) If you've been scammed by someone claiming to be Google Checkout, call your credit card, dispute the charge, done.

I was thinking the same thing! That we should be scared that they might delete our posts / accounts...but they never read this stuff.
Thank you for sharing your experience and the article! Was very interesting and also sickening. That kind of losses to our government...you can argue how many ways that money could be wasted here or there, but I guarantee that $180 BILLION over the last three years could have really helped this country...especially in recession! Disgusting, unethical, greedy Google.
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||awn362||11/4/10 6:12 PM|
Thanks JCG. Appreciate the support, though it won't help me get back any money or anything. Someone needs to wake these guys up. I'm not going to do it by myself, but if enough people get together and start complaining maybe something will come of it!
It's funny how they want me to give them my credit card info!!!! Screw that! I've already lost $2500, so what makes them feel that I trust them with my credit card????
Incredible! I mean the gall of these guys! All they have to do is hire some support people.
But that's right.... no one is willing to work for free. *shakes head*
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||EdSF||11/4/10 6:53 PM|
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||awn362||11/4/10 7:13 PM|
It's too late to call my credit card, Ed. It's a long story, but I've learned a valuable lesson from this. Go with companies that have support.
Ebay has a support function, and so do many others. Google has nothing... I was a victim of an elaborate scam. Google doesn't care. It was a vehicle, and got its cut from the deal. When I was busy trying to reach some kind of support, the scam went without a hitch. Google doesn't care that I've gotten IP addresses from this so called "Christy Holt". It doesn't care that it's a vehicle for scams. It could care less about it's tattered reputation. Google got my money, and I got screwed... end of sentence.....
I learned an important thing though. NEVER... EVER DEAL WITH GOOGLE CHECKOUT! As far as I'm concerned, you guys are as low as the man/woman who took my money.
All I wanted was to talk to someone. Through email, live-chat... anything. Instead I got exactly what I deserved. Empty promises. If you can find someone in charge of this organization tell them that until I get someone to talk to, I'm going to run down Google every chance I get.
Consider that a promise.
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||EdSF||11/4/10 7:36 PM|
What do you mean its late to call your credit card? You have rights as a card holder - we all do. You can dispute a charge on your credit card.
Your mention of a "vehicle scam" is telling however. There are a lot of posts in this forum about that, and they all deal with someone claiming to be Google, and their scam "standard operating procedure" is not to use credit cards - because of what I've been saying (you can dispute charges simply by calling your bank).
They perpetrate the scam by asking you to pay with a non-recoverable, untraceable method like Money Order, Western Union, or Money Gram.
I'm sorry that you were victimized, but the fact still remains, that if this is what you fell prey to, it has zero relationship to Google Checkout. What did you expect Google to do? These are scammers claiming to be Google.
If anything, you should complain to the venue where you saw that post (for the vehicle)....or go to law enforcement - only they can do something about obtaining info about an IP address (and actually do something about it).
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||JCGadgets||11/4/10 7:39 PM|
I think we need to get some facts straight here:
1. Did you or did you not pay with a Visa, MasterCard, or American Express *credit* card?
2. Did you or did you not conduct the payment on www.googlecheckout.com ?
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||awn362||11/4/10 8:03 PM|
No we did not pay with a credit card. We were idiots.... OK?
We have no idea where we conducted the business, but we've since assumed that it was not through googlecheckout.com. But it doesn't seem to matter, because GCO doesn't seem to be interested in IP addresses or anything.
But finally I've got someone's attention! Imagine if you started a legitimate sales venue, and some scam artist were able to reproduce to an incredible degree, and official looking receipt of moneys transferred... wouldn't YOU be a little curious as to IP addresses, and emails back and forth?
You're the first person that seems to be wondering. I'm NOT some crackpot guy here to run-down Google. I did my damnest to get in touch with someone... anyone to talk to. I've not talked to ANYONE!!!!! I've been searching since 8/17 for someone to talk to. I've gotten nowhere.
Can you blame me for being a little peeved?
Hell, I've even called headquarters at my expense and was told that Google offered no support at this time. Pretty much as I already assumed. :-( And yes.... I've little put off by the fact that I probably would have been served better if I had talked, chatted, or something resembling caring on Google's part. My mistake was thinking that a large company like Google cared about its customers.
That was my other mistake.
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||imgjohn123||6/21/11 1:22 PM|
Google Checkout and Paypal are the 2 evils on payment interfaces. Both companies do not care about anyone in the service areas in business. Google Checkout Violated my contract with my client. They didnt care. They have no customer service number to call them... Talk about hiding behind a tree of emails. I will tell all my clients to NEVER use Google Checkout. Paypal... is also evil.. but at least they have a phone number.

|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||Dcg26||10/16/11 8:00 AM|
Hey guys, just look at Google Checkout's BBB rating, it's an F. This should tell you something. I would encourage everyone who had a bad experience with them to file a complaint against them with the BBB. Even if it's really quick it can push the BBB to take Government action against them because the BBB has all sorts of ties with the government.
Just go onto BBB.org and click on "file a complaint" and then search "google check out." You'll find them listed under a New Jersey address.
This can make a huge difference. I would also advise you to let others know through your websites that you do not use Google Check Out because of their F rating with the BBB. Good Luck!
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||awn362||10/16/11 8:10 AM|
Already done. And "Customer Support"? Forget that too. There is no support, and there is no way to get money owed to you.
No phone number. No way to get in touch with anyone... Nothing. I'll have nothing to do with Google Checkout anymore. That isn't just useless chatter... It's fact.
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||Shep2||10/26/11 8:56 AM|

This is worthless, although EVERYONE should call and flood their corporate call lines with daily questions about this. Get in there and the IVR will forward you to a recording that says go to the website for support. Press zero to speak to a live person. That person will tell you that you cannot speak to anyone about this and you cannot talk to their manager. They will direct you to the support website which is COMPLETELY USELESS.
I have a refund that is noted in my payment history but not returned to my bank card. I cannot see the credit in my account, and there is no support for this issue.
I will not use Google once I get this money back, will cancel both my user and merchant accounts and move to a payment gateway that cares enough about their customers to have support.
No wonder Google makes money when they do not have to pay support personnel to fix their broken processes so the customers are just screwed and sit in limbo.
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||awn362||10/26/11 9:13 AM|
Forget that number. It's of no use to you. We too have lost money through GCO, and will NEVER do business here again.
I wish you luck on getting your money back, but if yours is like mine, I received no help, and nothing but the run-around.
If they had just some kind of help, it may not be a problem. But alas people to assist you might cost minimum wage, and they aren't willing to pay.

I still say when you get time, call back early, call back often. Blog about this, write analysts at gartner and forrester and any other grass roots internet vehicle to properly display to the world what they are about and ruin their reputation. If more people were costing them stock price by displaying how inadequate they are in public then perhaps they will act.
My part time job now is to fight them where they live and get the message out there. Worth it to me to ruin their reputation but telling the truth about their woefully inadequate products, services, and support.

Don't believe it when Google says they protect you from fraud.
I had a $900.00 purchase that the customer claimed was defective. I sent the customer a return authorization for an exchange. Instead of sending the device back to me; the customer sent it to the manufacturer and received a new replacement.
Problem is that Google took back my money. After a couple of months of "investigating" the problem they said they didn't cover this type of problem and that I was just out of luck.

Could you tell us why you are defending GOOGLE CHECKOUT so much!? Do you work for them or something!?
How can you defend the UNDEFENDABLE!? I've paid GOOGLE maybe 1200 EURO in 3 months and I CAN'T GET A SINGLE REPLY FROM THEM ON MY ISSUES!? Do you think THAT IS REASONABLE!?

Add me to the list if cooks caught by the FAKE Google checkout scheme. Just makes you feel really low...
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||tangramsoft||1/13/12 6:51 PM|
The checkout support email is useless, I have tried to spend half year with that damn support with email, I still have not got my 1600$, and unless I send email to them, they never ever response. Once I sent an email, they will tell me, "We are sorry, we are checking this, thanks for your patient, bla bla..........."
Can I get the money in this new year 2012, I doubt that.
I know I can never ever get my money for google, so anyone who can help to fight them in law, feel free to contact with me.

This is the worst support I've ever received from a reputable company. They will not get my business because I can't have my business depend on them. I'm out!

Sorry...it appears they do not offer phone support. I must admit I find it distasteful, but I haven't had any problems in receiving my payouts.
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||Google Checkout Sucks||2/4/13 2:43 PM|
Never been so frustrated with a vendor. These guys don't care and because they do not have to talk with someone directly, they can ignore you and don't have to listen to feedback. Unbelievable that a search engine as good as Google is on the other end of the spectrum with there merchant services. Not going to do business with them.
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||Timkins||2/19/13 9:28 AM|
Google Checkout Does Not Exit... I got scammed just this week. They are now Google Wallet and NEVER ask for monies to be send through Money Gram, Western Union, etc. They function like PayPal. SOoooo.... anything the comes with a Google Checkout as payment is a SCAM.
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||Davene||2/19/13 11:34 AM|
It is working fine for me...are you sure you are doing it right?
Here is a link to my google checkout store: http://www.chimayochilebros.com/shop
I have been getting my payments regularly just a day or two after I mark my orders as shipped.

|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||Timkins||2/19/13 12:50 PM|
SO... You are telling me that the process listed below is FINE and the is the way you conduct business. I spoke directly to a Google agent today who explained to me that Google Checkout NEVER requires up-front monies through any Money Gram, Western Union, etc but uses traditional credit card transactions.
Google Checkout Payment Invoice - Order #10040581728
Dear Timothy S. Moore,
The Seller XXXXXXXXXXXXX started the transaction over the Google Checkout!
After verifying the membership of this specific member and confirming his overall good standing, we have approved the development of this transaction, based on the Seller's purchase protection account on file with Google Checkout Department.
**** Five easy steps to complete your Google Checkout transaction:
1. Buyer and Seller Agree to Terms: Both parties agree to terms and conditions of the transaction, which include a description of the vehicle, sale price and number of days for the Buyer's inspection of the vehicle.
2. Buyer Pays Google Checkout: The Buyer submits payment, selecting Money Gram to our Google Checkout verified Agent. Processing time for payments is 24 hours.
3. Seller Ships the Vehicle: Upon payment verification, the Seller is authorized to ship the vehicle and submit tracking information. Google Checkout verifies that the Buyer receives the vehicle. The inspection period begins once the vehicle is delivered.
4. Buyer receives the Vehicle: The Buyer has 5 days to verify the vehicle and the option to accept or reject.
5. The Seller is Paid by Google Checkout: Google pays the Seller. The transaction is complete. If the buyer is not satisfied, he must notify our agency with the item issues, after the inspection period. A solution to most problems can usually be negotiated between the Buyer and Seller. If this is not possible, the Buyer will receive the money from our trust account. In case the Buyer refuse to continue the transaction with the Seller from other reasons, our agency will return the funds to the Buyer in maximum 1 - 2 days depending by his location and also the available payment method.
1. You have to fill out a Money Gram sending money form, which you can find it at - Walmart store, grocery stores, check-cashiers, mail box centers, travel agencies and depots and other retail locations. You have to put into the Sender`s box your name and your address.
Into the receiver`s box our Google Checkout Verified Agent details ( like you sent to a friend or relative).
2. Give the form, the money(cash), and a proof of identity to the clerk. Pay with Money Gram. It's the easy and fast way to pay online, and it lets you shop without sharing your financial details with sellers.
3. The clerk will give you a payment receipt which you have to fax it so we can begin the shipping process.

|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||sptacos||2/26/13 11:46 PM|
hey I have question. I have a hood fan for sale for $2500. I posted it then not more than a few days later a person responded to the posting saying that he would purchase it. the question is, he said he made a payment to google checkout for 2500 plus 700 to cover the cost of shipping. but then he said that I have to western union over the shipping cost (out of my pocket not the the money he sent) to a shipper he was using and he said google checkout would then verify it, by me sending a receipt to them, then they would release funds to my google checkout account. I also received emails from google checkout stating the same thing. If they are authentic emails?
number one I didn't ask to use google checkout he did. it sounds fishy because I have tried calling the shipper and asking him who he was using as a carrier to pick up my item because I live in Hawaii. its small here and wanted to see if he was legit. he never wanted to give me any info. so the buyer and the shipper are insistant that i send money western union. they say google checkout operates this way. well is a scam or what? help

|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||Davene||2/28/13 7:07 AM|
I am pretty sure you are not supposed to buy cars on Google Checkout.
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||Mike PH||2/28/13 8:02 AM|
If it smells like a scam, it probably is. Google Checkout will never ask you to use Western Union, and does not have any waiting periods.
Hope that helps,
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||insomnia24||4/3/13 1:48 AM|
I will never use google checkout again on my online store. Buyer ordered £474 worth item from me and I sent it with TNT. A few weeks later credir card holder saying they didn't ordered any item from me so they contacted their bank and google checkout asked me for proof of delivery. I got the hard copy of delivery from TNT and sent it to google. Now I received email from Google saying I lost the case. I will never use google again and I will write article about this and i will publish it on big article sites and I hope no one will ever use google checkout again.
|Re: how do you contact google checkout support||Davene||4/3/13 6:17 AM|
It still works fine for me. The only problem I have is that only people with Google wallet can order from my site.
