|My calendar will not allow me to edit or save events. It won't let me delete the calndar and start over.||TracieS||11/23/09 10:29 AM|
My Google calendar worked fine the first few days I used it. After just a few days, I tried clicking into the calendar to add an event, and was unable to. I went to "Create Event" and entered the information, but nothing happened when I hit "Save". After a few frustrasting days of trying, I decided to delete the calendar and start over, but I got a message saying that I am not allowed to delete the calendar. I don't want to start over with a different email address; I used my company address which I use for everything else, and I don't want to have to go to an alternate site. The same thing happened (at the same time) to my boss, whose calendar was connected to mine. I unsubscribed to his calendar, but it didn't make a difference. The lack of useful support from Google is very disappointing.

Have you tried a different browser?

I have tried Firefox and Safari, which are the two other browsers available at the school where I work. No luck with either of those. Thanks for the response, though.

Does your school have an IT department? Is it possible there's either a proxy or firewall that might be interfering here? Do you get a different behavior going to https://www.google.com/calendar?

Have you figured this out? I've got the same problem. It's driving me crazy.

Same problem here. I have had to go back to Outlook which I was getting used to not using because Google seemed better.
It appears that Google may not be aware that their Calendar App is not working and it may be a program glitch. Hope they let us know soon.

I forgot to check the "Email me when people reply" so please do.

Discovered that on a Mac, if you edit an event, you need to click outside the description area and then Save. Works just fine then.
