We're seeing an issue with owner responses to reviews not posting, and we're working on it! Sit tight, and I'll post an update to this thread as soon as I get news.

We believe that this owner response issue has been resolved.
From now, posting an owner response as the verified owner should show on your local Google+ page. You might need to refresh the page to see it.
If you posted an owner response in the past few weeks that didn't go live, my recommendation is to repost it now.

If the responses are showing when logged into our account but not otherwise, should we still re-post or should we give it a few days?

@Colan, try reposting, but that sounds like an issue that comes up due to having multiple accounts verified on a page.

Jade - I am not able to delete the owner responses, so that I can re-post them. I can see them, and there is a button to delete, but nothing happens when I click delete.
Have you heard of anybody having this issue?

We're unable to post a reply to a review left on our page... we're the verified owner and can access the dashboard, but when we're on the page, the link to reply to reviews is nowhere to be found...
any idea what's wrong?

@Colan -- please post a link to the listing and identify the responses that you'd like deleted. I think that editing/deleting owner responses isn't working, but I can do it manually.
@Mt. Moriah Auto Sales -- try "poking" your listing (going into dashboard, hitting Edit and Submit) and trying again in a day or two.

Please delete all of the responses, as none of them are showing.
I have another dozen or so listings with the same issue. What is your recommendation for handling those?
I have a feeling that these particular cases have something to do with the State Farm corporate feed that has partial ownership on the listings. We are working on getting that resolved. Do you think that could be causing the problem? Or is this part of the known issue that you mentioned?

@Colan, misunderstood, are your owner responses showing up when logged in but not when logged out? If so, that's a separate issue -- has to do with having multiple owners on the listing. (If you've got both a feed/bulk owner and an individual owner, that will make owner responses act very strangely.) Try "poking" the listing and seeing if they appear.

I have both scenarios happening. A few listings show the responses when you are logged into the account. A few do not show at all.
I have poked one of the listings that show the responses when logged in, and I will re-post for the ones that don't show period.
I'll let you know how it goes.

There was an issue that has been going on for 6 months. We could get in to add words , but instead of saving we received an error 400. When we submitted the complaint, our Google places-maps listing had most of the contents removed and was put on pending. that was 3 weeks ago.we are still on maps but have no listing when you search for mercedes repair. we have also lost about 100 reviews over time. Is it because we changed the listing or added keywords? Anyone have the sames issue? what was the outcome?

We tried "poking" our listing... it didn't work...
we also can't get the correct info to show up on the listing - in our dashboard, it shows the correct address and correct categories - but on the listing, it shows other info...
we've tried editing the listing and "poking" the account 4 or 5 times now, and the info never updates...
PLEASE help - we need to get the info updated, and we need to be able to respond to the review ASAP!

we had to re-verify the account though, since we had no idea who had claimed it before and no one here had access to it... Jade said it's an issue with the fact that there are 2 accounts tied to it - but that doesn't help us... we've tried re-poking Google multiple times, and our changes never show up... AND we can't reply to the review that's there...
makes ZERO sense that we're a verified owner and we can't edit or administer our own listing... and if it's an issue with a second account that's been verified, we should at least be able to see what that account it, or to delete it! Epic fail, google... epic fail...

I'm not following you. Did you claim a new Places Page for a search listing about a month ago? Was the address on that search listing incorrect? Is the address on the search listing incorrect now?

the address is correct...
1) the categories are incorrect and will not update
2) we are unable to respond to the review that was left about a week and a half ago
we had to re-claim the listing about a month ago because we had no idea who claimed it before and didn't have access to the listing. We've now found out that it's because there are 2 verified accounts listed as having access to our profile listing...
this shouldn't be this hard...

Ah, addresses are central to the operation of Places and your first post led me to believe that the address on the search listing was incorrect.
As to the other two issues. Are you sure you have a live Places Page? Do you get a "Location not supported" message when you attempt to view the search listing from a link on your Dashboard?
I have no idea what the problem with Owner Responses is or when it will be fixed.

Owner responses still acting very strangely for listings with multiple verified owners. Sometimes a poke clears it up by asserting the most recent owner.

None of the posts really help me figure out how to respond to my customers on my google places site or my google + site. When is this feature going to be restored to a user friendly state? Some geek has fixed a feature that wasn't broken! Ouch!!! The cardinal rule is "Don't fix what's not broken!"

I did this and still nothing!
I have re-verified my business through phone and new PIN and STILL CANT RESPOND TO REVIEWS. (I can do everything else in terms of editing the page but just are unable to respond, which is super frustrating.) This didn't happen to my other business account and I was able to respond to reviews right away. The message i get when I click "respond to reviews" is "We currently do not support the location" uggghhhhhh! Again, this still pops up, after I re-verified the business.
