This has just started recently. When viewing any of my google doc pdf on mobile (Android for sure), The single page pdf automatically begins moving down small steps at a time until is going completely off the bottom out of view. There is no way to

This problem still exists. It would be nice to see a post from google stating that they are aware of the issue and working to resolve it.

Update: This problem still exists. Could someone from Google please acknowledge this issue and provide the status of the resolution? That would be costumer service.

Agree. Might need to check out alternative hosts. Why don't they acknowledge the problem? VA have you determined whether the bug is limited to pdf or does it affect all document types? All mine are pdf so I can't test this.

Sorry, all! You've found yet another bug in a bug-infested time for Google Docs. Sorry for the troubles! I will test on my Android, and if I too can verify, I will pass it along with all of the other bugs that have been reported in the past 72 hour

This appears to only occur with pdf files viewed via mobile device browser (android and iphone confirmed). Ok on PC (ie, chrome) & ipad. I'm assuming it is the pdf viewer on mobile only.

I don't see the issue if I use the Google Docs app for Android. Only when view through the stock browser.

Dziegman, great, you seem to be acknowledging the issue on behalf of google. Hope you can fix it soon. If you need another example happy to direct you to my android app. The mystery is that the same issue has been reported in 2010 and 2011 yet for me

The problem is not with the Google Docs mobile app. The issue occurs when viewing Google Docs pdf's via the mobile web browser.

dziegman can you let us know what's going on? This problem still exists and I don't know whether to wait for a fix or abandon googledocs and rework my app. If google wants to be the egalitarian alternative to apple etc it needs to engage with its use

I too have experienced this problem. We post PDFs on Google Docs and use QR-Codes for people on mobile devices to get to the PDF document. This bug has seriously hampered our ability to do that. I'd be happy being able to generate a "direct download"

Well, I found out how to create a direct link to a PDF download. This will solve my problem until Google fixes the bug mentioned in this thread. For future reference, here is how you craft the URL to make a direct download link to a Google document:
